In my opinion, it is unthinkable to forget your own daughter in a pub! Even if you are in a big amount of people and children, your own children suppose to be most important. They could have done a headcount before leaving just to be sure everybody is present but it is obvious that no one have thought of that. They were too busy with their own business. I think it is really irresponsible of them as parents. Fortunately, the pub was nearby home and Nancy has been away from her parents for only around 15 minutes. However, if I were her, I would be shocked to realized that I have been left alone somewhere and that my parents just forgot about me.

This story reminds me of another one where parents forget their child! I just read it a few weeks ago in the newspaper. The mother, father and 17 year old sun were on a holiday. They were travelling by car and had to stop at a Parking Lot right next to the Highway to eat, drink and to refuel. When they were on the road again, for like 2 hours, the mother realised that they had forgotten their son!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI thought this was a funny story :)
I understand why they forgot their daughter which is because they were driving in separate cars. Even though they should have checked everyone before they head back home. However, everyone makes mistakes and they should be thankful that nothing happened to the child. Imagine all the things that could have happened the minutes she was alone. She could have been kidnapped!
